When it comes to street art, Banksy is probably the most famous and probably the most mysterious graffiti artist in the world. The British man, estimated to be between 45 and 50 years old, has successfully kept his identity a secret throughout the years. His works, on the other hand, are not only conquering the streets internationally, but also the auction houses, and with great success: he is currently considered one of the most expensive contemporary artists!
Banksy is a star far beyond the boundaries of the art market. Back in 2010, Time Magazine put him on its list of the 100 most influential people in the world, along with personalities such as Barack Obama, Steve Jobs and Lady Gaga.
The exhibition "The Mystery of Banksy – A Genius Mind" gives the visitor a comprehensive overview of and insight into Banksy's entire work in a unique environment. But the world-renowned street-art artist, who creates his works under the pseudonym Banksy, has not himself contributed to the exhibition. All works that can be seen on "The Mystery of Banksy – A Genius Mind" have been reproduced by eight other street-art artists.
